Free legal advice for refugees and migrants on asylum and residence law

We – the Refugee Law Clinic Bonn e.V. – offer free legal advice for refugees and migrants. Our legal advisors are specially trained students from the University of Bonn. They are accompanied by experienced lawyers.

We help with, among other things by:

• Questions about the asylum procedure and Dublin,
• Accompaniment to asylum hearings,
• Questions about residence law,
• Family reunification
• Contact with authorities (e.g. BAMF, foreigners authority and job centre)

Our legal advice is…

• Independent & confidential: Everything you discuss with us is strictly confidential and will not be passed on to the authorities.

• In your language: If required, we can organise interpreters for the consultation!

• Free of charge: Our counselling service is free of charge.

Location: Our counselling sessions take place in a room at MIGRApolis (Haus der Vielfalt e.V., Brüdergasse 16-18, 53111 Bonn) and online.

Note on counselling: Our counsellors have generally not yet completed their studies. They therefore cannot provide the same level of legal advice as a lawyer. The RLC Bonn is only liable for damages to a limited extent.
