Training
Pursuant to Section 6 (2) sentence 1 of the Legal Services Act (Rechtsdienstleistungsgesetz), working as a legal advisor for migration law requires training that provides the necessary knowledge of migration law. The training consists of a lecture on asylum and residence law and a tutorial in which the content of the lecture is discussed on the basis of real-life cases.
The training programme takes place every semester and concludes with a written examination in which a case relating to asylum and residence law is dealt with. Both the lecture and the tutorial are held by experienced asylum lawyers from Bonn.
Our training and work as a legal advisor is open to everyone – including people who do not study law or who do not study at all. Both the lecture and the tutorial can be attended without prior legal knowledge. The necessary basic legal knowledge, particularly in administrative law, is taught in additional workshops at the beginning of the training programme.
Participation in the programme is free of charge. Registration is possible at the beginning of each semester. We publish the necessary information in advance on our website and our social media channels. Regular training courses are also part of our training education concept. These training courses go into more depth on topics that go beyond the basics learnt in the semester course and are relevant to the work we do for our clients.
More information on the training programme can be found in our training regulations.
All questions relating to training can be directed to ausbildung@rlcbonn.de.
