We, some law students from the University of Bonn, founded the Refugee Law Clinic Bonn e.V. in summer 2023. We want to support refugees and migrants by providing free legal advice on asylum and residence law issues. Our motivation is to use our legal knowledge in a meaningful way to give people access to their rights.

The departements

The work of the Refugee Law Clinic Bonn e.V. (RLC Bonn) is organised in various work groups:

Internal organisation

We make sure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes of the RLC Bonn. Our areas of responsibility include membership administration, internal communication, data storage and the organisation of the general structure of the association. We are also responsible for member support and organise among other things regular get-togethers and information evenings for interested people.

Finances

We take care of the planning, monitoring and administration of all financial matters of the RLC Bonn. This includes budgeting, accounting, financial reporting and ensuring transparency with regard to all financial transactions. In addition, we are responsible for ensuring that the RLC Bonn receives the necessary financial resources for its work. To this end, we research funding programmes and write corresponding applications.
